"A Night of Three GoD/Desses presents: Land of Milk, Honey and Rose."
Featuring a new spoken word piece by MilDred Gerestant, Tantra-zawadi, and Sokhna Heathyre Mabin in an evening of music, dance/movement, poetry, and gender expression. MilDred Gerestant's work is about BEing FREE to be yourSELF without worrying about if society will accept you or not - www.DredLove.com . Tantra-zawadi best describes her work "by the love that I make through my art to the vision of the unseen reality." Sensual and sublime, her poetry explores love in all its forms; from the rush of the first kiss to the bittersweet. As a performance poet/published author,Tantra supports the rights of women to exist, choose, decide and think through the art form of spoken word. Tantra's latest book "Gathered at Her Sky" is available at Lulu and www.amazon.com . Sokhna Heathyre Mabin's work branches from self reflected observations of archetypal longing to be one with nature and regenerate ourselves. A mother, dancer, vocalist, designer, doula, yogi - Sokhna's vision has taken her around the world performing on stages in caves, on beaches and in sacred gardens, but New York City is her home.
A Night of Three God/desses showcased at the WOW Cafe Theatre in March 2010 and will premiere at LaMaMa Theatre in February 2011!
